Although the research has not shown that the use of clickers has increased grades dramatically, it has shown that clickers when used with group learning foster an active learning environment.  During surveys that were taken after courses finish, students who had been exposed to clickers in a class wanted to see them implemented in other classes.  The majority of instructors that used clickers in their rooms, found that they liked the benefits that the clickers brought to the room.  The instructors had noticed that it help to change the way they think about delivering instruction to maximize the highest level of engagement by the student.  They also noticed that attendance increased in all the classes that the clickers were used.  Looking at the data from surveys, the use of clickers in the classroom has benefits that far out reach its' disadvantages.
